Good weather is coming as it will be warmer than Malibu In some parts
Ireland will bask in sunshine this week, with Met Eireann predicting that parts of the country will be warmer than Malibu.
The national forecaster is predicting promising conditions for the latter part of the week, with temperatures of 18C to be felt in parts of the country.
An ‘African air plume’ will arrive from North Africa midweek, with the best of the weather reaching Ireland on Thursday, bringing temperatures well above April averages.
This week will start with average temperatures of between 11-14C, but the mercury will hit a toasty 17-18C as the week progresses.
Tomorrow will get off to a bright start, before cloud and rain arrives from the west coast, extending across the country, with heavy showers expected for both Munster and Connacht.
Max Monday temperatures will be around 13C.
Heavy rain will begin to clear on Tuesday morning, although some showers will remain in parts, with temperatures beginning to rise to 13-16C.
Wednesday will see conditions turn milder again, with pleasant sunny spells persisting on the east coast, although cloud will slightly spoil conditions in the west.
